Day 1
Errachidia → Ziz Valley → Erfoud → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
We collect you from Moulay Ali Cherif airport or your hotel in Errachidia and head south along the Ziz Valley, stopping at the panoramic viewpoint where the palm sea stretches out below the cliffs. Continue through Erfoud, famous for its dates and its 350-million-year-old marine fossils, to reach Merzouga in the afternoon. Here you meet your camel handler and trek about an hour over the Erg Chebbi dunes, climbing a high crest for sunset before continuing to camp. Mint tea on arrival, a Moroccan dinner and Berber drums under the stars.

Day 2
Merzouga → Khamlia → Rissani → Erfoud → Errachidia
Wake early for sunrise over the dunes, then ride or drive back to the edge of the erg for breakfast and a shower. On the way north we stop at Khamlia, a village settled by descendants of Sub-Saharan people, for a short session of Gnawa music, then at Rissani — the old caravan capital of Sijilmassa — where the souk fills with dates, olives and donkeys on market days. Continue through Erfoud and back up the Ziz to Errachidia, where the tour ends at your hotel or the airport.
