1. Decide how long you have
Morocco rewards both short and long stays. As a rough guide: 3–4 days is enough for a desert loop from Marrakech; 7 days lets you combine the desert with the imperial cities; and 10–15 days covers the whole country from coast to Sahara at a relaxed pace.
2. Choose your starting city
We start tours from any city — most travellers fly into Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca or Tangier. One-way routes (for example Marrakech to Fes across the desert) are a great way to avoid backtracking.
3. Pick the right season
- Spring & autumn — the mildest, most comfortable weather.
- Winter — cool days, cold desert nights and snow in the Atlas.
- Summer — hot inland; great for the coast and early-morning desert.
4. Travel private, travel flexible
Every tour we run is private, so nothing is fixed in stone. Add a night in the dunes, swap a city, slow down where you love it — just tell us and we'll adjust the route.
5. Get in touch early
The best riads and desert camps book up quickly, especially around December and April. Reaching out a few weeks ahead means we can secure the best places for your dates.
